Winter solstice 2014

Winter solstice 2014 is upon us here in the Nordic region of Finland, it is the shortest daylight day of the year.  Depending on where latitude you are located then the daylight varies according to the latitude.  In the Arctic region of Finland, the sun won’t come over the horizon at all, and it won’t for some weeks time to come.
